All you need is a few simple materials to make a really cute and fun Santa-themed card.
All of the items below can be substituted with materials that you already have in your home (such as recycled cardboard, pen, paper, and old buttons!).
What you will need
- Red card
- White glitter tape
- Scrabble letters
- Brown tag (or you can cut one out yourself)
Of course, you can get creative with this, and not all of these are mandatory!
- Take your piece of red card. You can fold it either vertically or horizontally. It’s completely up to you!
Then cut a piece of white glitter tape to size and spread it in a straight line horizontally across the card.
After that, cut another piece of white glitter tape exactly to the height, and then spread it vertically across the middle of the card.
- Next, get your brown tag and then glue that to the center of the card.
If you do not already have a brown tag, then you can very easily create one to the same shape by just cutting paper or card out with a pair of scissors.
- Get your Scrabble letters and arrange them in the right order using glue.
If you do not have Scrabble letters, then you can easily create your own using cardboard or paper and a pen.
You can write whatever word you want here, as long as it fits on to the tag!
- You can finish it all off by putting a button or another piece of decorative item at the top corner, or wherever you want.
It’s totally up to you, be as creative as you like!
Then after that, write your own message inside, and you have your card ready to go for your loved one.
I hope you enjoyed this step by step tutorial on how to create a simple and easy Santa card. Of course, you can write whatever words you want here.
If you do not have all the materials, then you can easily substitute them for your own items that you have in your house, you could easily create something like this using recycled materials, or even just a pen and paper.
You can add as much color to these as you want. So be as creative as you would like. If you created any crafts inspired by this post, then please send on a photo to our contact page, or even share it with us on social media.
